In the museum at Aix-la-Chapelle
there is preserved a newspaper whose
pages measure 8y2 -feet by 6 feet,
each page containing thirteen col
umns forty-eight inches long. The
paper was started in New York City
in 1859, but lasted but a short Ume.
An old piano which has been used
at the Bath (Me.) high school for
more than forty years is at last to be
sold. It is said that when Emma
Eames was a schoolgirl she walked
all over its keyboard because she did
not like its tone.
