Make white cream sauce by put

be no lumps. Cook five minutes, stir
ring constantly. Put layer of the
cooked macaroni into bottom of well
buttered pan. Salt and pepper slight
ly, turn little cream sauce over and
sprinkle liberally with grated cheese,
dot with little butter. Then put in
more macaroni, sauce, cheese and
butter in layers until all is used. Turn
cup of milk over top and bake in
moderate oven half an hour.
