McKey-Bryant Plans to Win Altitude Record.
Seattle, Wash., July 27. A pledge
made to her ill-fated "husband, killed
in a horrible pitch from the sky last
year, is keeping Mrs. Alys H. McKey
Bryant, aviatrix, in the business of
courting a similar fate in an 80-horse-power
"It was his wish," she says, stoic
ally, to the pleas of her friends that
she discontinue flying, "to have me
go ahead after he had gone. -That is
reason enough for me. I shall not
quit. It is my work my profession.
"And when I go" squinting into

came hurtling on that fatal day in
which he was dashed to earth and
horribly mangled at Victoria, B. C
