Antwerp, Sept. 27. Declared many Germans
drowned when Belgians opened dikes and Hooded conn
try southwest of Antwerp in effort to prevent German
attempt to cut off Antwerp from sea. 5,000 Germans
' Washington. French town of Senlis evacuated by
allies. North and south movement of German army con
tinues, according to French embassy.
Belgium Belgians report that German attempt to
cut Belgian line and isolate Antwerp from the sea has
been checked by Belgians with heavy loss to the Germans.
