Perhaps there is nobody in the
"world who enjoys and ioves her -work
more than Norma Phillips, the "Mu
tual girl." She plays the title role
in the 52-reel serial picture put out
by the Mutual Film Company.
Miss Phillips is a southern beauty.
She was born in 1892 in Cambridge,
Md. Her blonde charms made her
the reigning belle of her native town
end many urged her to enter, the the
atrical profession. She received her
education at ML St Agnes college in
Mt. Washington, Md., and in a con
vent in Paris. While abroad she de
cided to go on the stage and Sarah
Bernhardt wasther first inspiration.
She was first seen in musical comedy
and later was a member of the Amer
ican company which was taken to
England to produce "Come, Over
Here,"
