WARM CHARGES FLY.
A live scrap has followed the oust
ing of Mary Campbell, assistant to
Dr. Hickson in the psychopathic lab
oratory. When the judges of the Municipal
Court in meeting fired Miss Campbell
she flared up, declaring that she had
not been naid what she was Timm-
ised, couldn't work in harmony with
Dr. iicKson, saia nis work was slop
py and that she had been canned
to make way for Hickson's wife.
Chief AJusJice Olson came back
with the statement that no one could
work with Miss Campbell, that she
had never been promised more than
$2,500 a year and that she was fired
only after it became necessary to
lose either her or Dr. Hickson.
