Evidence tending to show that the Sears-Roebuck millionaire might be accused of a state's prison offense did not come into the hands of the stage's attorney until two days after the return of the indictment now standing, which indictment merely calls for a $200 fine on conviction, in t stead of a, trip to Joliett . . , r Hoyne openly declared in. a written statement to the press, following the Rosenwald indictment: "There is evidence in my posses sion tending to show that a conspir acy existed between Julius Rosen wald and a certain attorney to evade the revenue laws."
