LITTLE PRINCE WOULD MAKE PEACE, BUT THE
KAISER WILL NOT HELP HIM
Little Prince Carl of Sweden, who wrote to the Emperor of Germany
saying that he heard all the soldiers in Europe were killing each other, and
woudl his "imperial highness please tell them to stop." The emperor wrote
the little peacemaker that he couldn't stop the war, but he sent him a,
wooden model of Erdman, the emperor's favorite dachshund.
