rison and turned south to Van Buren.
Continuing down Van Buren they
turned south o nAshland to Jackson.
From Ashland and Jackson the
parade went east to Canal, south on
Canal to Harrison, east on Harrison
to Franklin, down Franklin to Van
Buren, east on Van Buren to Mich
igan, down Michigan to Jackson,
down Jackson to Market, over on
Market to Adams, down Adams to,
Canal, back to Jackson and down
Jackson to Green and over on Green
to Harrison, where they disband.
HILLSTROM WRITES DEATH
POEM LITTLE HOPE
Salt Lake City, Utah, Oct. 12,-Toe
Hillstrom has written his death poem.
The I. W. W. song writer has given
up hope that Pres. Wilson's interven-
tion at the Swedish minister's re
quest would avail anything. While the
prison warden confiscated the poem,
it was known to be a drastic ar
raignment of law, order and society.
Hillstrom's reprieve expires next
Saturday, when the pardons board
will consider his case again.
Governor and family and promi
nent buildings still guarded day and
night, although there has been fall
ing off in threatening letters. '
