The biggest prep game of Evans
ton will come off today when the
academy and high school teams
slash. Each has lost one game and
on comparative scores they stand
about equal. The championship of
Evanston is at stake.
The De Paul U squad left for Dav
enport, la., to settle an argument
with the St Ambrose eleven of that
city. This will leave the Thanksgiv
ing game with Keewatin academy,
last on their schedule.
Charley Barrett, Cornell captain
and quarterback, has scored more
points this season than most teams.
Barrett scored five touchdowns and
kicked five goals from touchdowns
against Washington and Lee, mak
ing his season's record 20 touch
downs and 24 goals from touch
downs, a total of 144 points. Harvard
has scored 123, Princeton 137 and
Yale 83.
Frank Kramer, the American
sprint champion, has turned reporter
and the followers of the bicycle game
and those who will be in attendance
at the six-day race at the Coliseum
will see him pounding out copy for
a Newark, N. J., paper. Kramer says
that grinding out words on a type
writer beats grinding out miles on a
bicycle in a six-day race.
The Ragen Colts Athletic club, one
of the largest athletic clubs in the
city, will hold its annual fall dance
at the Seventh Regiment Armory,
34th st and Wentworth av., on Sat
urday evening, Nov. 20.
This organization, with a member
ship of 1,475 young men, brought to
gether by their love of athletics,
sports and other amusements, have
already sold 3,000 tickets for this af
fair, and, judging from their adver
tisements, the attendance will more
than double the amount of tickets
now sold.

well spent, as there is considerable
amusement and excitement at all
times.
These young men will give you a
royal reception at their dance.
