On the same card Mike O'Dowd
found a man too good for him in Kid
Graves of Cleveland and was shaded
in ten rounds. Graves was too clever
for Mike and his dogged persistency.
O'Dowd won but one round.
Ritchie Mitchell had an easy time
whipping Benny Palmer in ten
rounds at Milwaukee. Palmer had
little time to train and faded after
the fourth round.
Jack Britton and Johnny Griffiths
will fight twelve rounds at Akron, 0.t
Dec. 28. Britton is substituting for
Freddie Welsh.
Another six-day race will be run
off in Chicago, the time probably
being the first week in February.
This time, however, the affair will
