FOUR GENERATIONS OF SUFFRAGISTS! ALL'
WORKING HARD FOR THE "VOTE"
Here is a group of "suffs" four generations of them. They live in
Grand Rapids, Mich. The oldest is 75; the youngest 10. The woman with
the spectacles' is Mrs. Sarah Hagenbaugh, the oldest active suffragist in
Michigan. Opposite is her daughter, Mrs. L. W. Richardson. At top is her
daughter, Mrs. Fred N. Rowe. At the bottom is Mrs. Rowe's young daugh
ter, Eleanor, who has already made public speeches for the cause.

FORD IS NOT WITH BRYAN IN
OPPOSING WILSON
New York, Jan. 4. Henry Ford
has put to rout many rumors that he
intended joining William Jennings
Bryan in an effort to bring peace to
the warring countries of Europe and
light the Wilson administration's pre
paredness campaign.
"I have made no plans for peace
with Mr. Bryan and so far as I know
I may never see him again," said
Ford.
