ON MERCER. Readers and writ
ers of The Public Forum ought to
feel elated now that no less a person
age than Christ himself is a fellow
contributor. I have often thought if
Christ were here in the flesh he
would patronize The Day Book.
Florida truly is a wonderful state.
That's where this former human be
ing went to have his true identity re
vealed to him. I have some land
down there, and I know from experi
ence that Florida soil will grow al-
most anything in the vegetable and
fruit line and an occasional nut.
Even the climate down there will
cause a man's imagination to grow
sadly out of proportion to the real

bible days went straight up.

is the real' Christ this long-suffering
world ought to know about it

52 widely scattered posts, which
would make it impossible to mobilize
quickly at any given point This
small force is short of officers, am

more, it has no organized reserve.

the above, any intelligent man would
naturally conclude that it is not a
question of how much money, but
what have you done with what we
have been giving you for years? The
facts as presented by the National
Security league give us basis for a,
claim for damages against our for-"
mer officials. Somebody has been
guilty of incompetence when we stop
