God's Christ and came to do business
as your brother and best friend. The
work is unfolding and I am learning
step by step. God is doing the teach
ing. I can- do nothing of myself. At
the appointed time-ample proof will
be made, so that I will be declared by
others. In the meantime, have a lit
tle patience. You can get busy if
you wish and provide me a place and
opportunity to talk to you. Then you
can investigate me all you like.
I have many things to tell you and
much that you will not understand at
first, but you can't escape me any
way, so the sooner you get acquaint
ed the better for us both.
I have a strong belief that the solu

vances. Jews, take courage! Jerusalem
shall be restored, the temple rebuilt
and Messiah shall reign, for the law
must issue forth from Jerusalem to
the uttermost parts of the earth.

UPHOLDING B. V. D.'S. Mr. O.
Verywell is unfair in his attack on
the vigorous, full-blooded citizens
who wear "shorts" during these cold
days. As we demand freedom in
everything, we certainly should have
freedom in clothes, and certainly Mr.
O. Verywell must a'dmit that there
is lots of freedom in B. V. D.'s.
His captious criticism brings to
mind the picture of a man who lives
out in the snowbound suburbs, en
cases himself in itchy woolens in
winter, is a discomfort to himself and
others, and continues to be in the
summertime by telilng all the city
dwellers how beautiful it is under the
trees on his lawn in the springtime,
extolling the beauty of scenery on his
18-mile car ride, and trying to make
us see, generally, how unfortunate
I doubt very much if Mr. 0. Very
well has been much pestered lately
by wearers of "shorts" telling him
the advantages of their clothing. We
who are wearing them are too busy
running to keep warm. B. V. D.
