Loyal daughter of the south, Miss Marion Bankhead, granddaughter
of Senator and Mrs. John Bankhead of Alabama, took an active part in a
Mardi Gras ball given by the Sons of Confederate Veterans in Washington.
She was one of the official hostesses of the pre-lenten ball.
