When we had sobbed ourselves into
silence Lily said very quietly:
"By summer time we'll know Mr.
Sanders and I how things are go
ing." And the look on Ber-face explained
everything. Sanders and she were

married, and going to run the house
together. He had proved true and
they had waited years for this to hap
pen. But somehow the look on each face
checked us from laughing again.

FEET RUSSIAN
DANCER GIVES POINTERS
- . wt . " 4- IP" -' A
BY ANNA PAVLOWA
Famous Russian Premiere Danseuse
Care of one's feet is simple, but I
have found there are certain things
that must be done and many people
do not know about them.
For one, do not neglect any sign
of ingrowing toe nails or of the form
ing of corns or bunions. Have them
tended to immediately.
Remember, comfortable footwear
and hose will best prevent diseases of
the feet
High heels and ill-fitted shoes are
among the causes of fallen arches.
Remember, irritation without heat
will turn the skin of the feet dark.
So will too frequent use of hot water
or steam.
It might be well to remember also
that tight fitting shoes are apt to af
fect the disposition as well as health.
They often are the real cause of a
red nose, which, of course, is dread
ed by women.
