Look out for the "Golden War Car" of the Woman Suffrage party! Driven by Mrs. Alice S. Burke and Miss Nell Richardson of the National American Woman Suffrage associa tion, the little automobile lias started on the first lap of a lfr.QOO-mile tour which wilT carry the two suffrage cru saders twice across thecontinent. Christened with, a bottle of gaso line by Mrs. Carrie Chapman Catt, national president of the suffragists. the tiny machine left New York amid a. shower of yellow daffodils. "We expect to .make from 75 to 100 miles a day,''4said Mrs. Burke. "And will arrive in Chicago and St. Louis in time to attend the suffrage demonstrations there during the big party conventions on June 7 and 14. "Our first stop will be at Trenton, N. J. After that the route lies through Maryland, Virginia, Texas, Arizona, California, Washington, Montana, Illinois and Ohio."
