Miss Griswold and Miss Hammus
will attempt to establish an Adam
less Eden in the Adirondacks. They
live the "primitive life" to prove that
women as well as men can live in
the woods by their own devices and
with what nature offers.
Knowles, the "nature man," will
instruct the young women in nature
craft, then leave them to their own
resources and retire to his own Eve
None of the three will have a
weapon or a single piece of clothing
when they enter the woods. Miss

In honor of a visit to his plant by
the governor of the state, an auto
mobile manufacturer once had a
complete car assembled in something
like seven minutes.
Some weeks after the feat was
heralded in the daily papers the tele
phone at the factory rang vigor
ously. "Is it true that you assembled a
car in seven minutes at your fac
tory?" the voice ask1
"Yes," came the reply. "Why?"
"Oh, nothing, sam uie ., in
