Neither a Tie Nor a Jabot

Black velvet makes the perfect
contrast for almost every summer
material, color or complexion. There
fore designers are forever seeking
new ways to use it
The latest invention is a blouse
decoration which is neither a jabot
nor a tie. This new accessory per
mits the display of a yard or more of
black velvet on a waist front The
band is applied with snappers.
Another style note in this illustra
tion is the new straight and narrow
shirt sleeves. The embroidery on the
blouse is picked out in beads.
