Max Baer, of California. There
were no knockdowns.
The crowd booed the decision.
Baer weighed 200 pounds and
Schaaf 203 pounds.

recently. Divodi’s real name was

The Elks' House Tournament
which has been in progress the
past two months came to a close
last night, the Fighting Tigers win
ning first place. The Wildcats anti i
Buffaloes tied for second plajcf. j
and these two teams will roll threfc
games to decide who takes second
prize.
The Wildcats sprang a surprise
last night and rolled the highest
three-game total of the tourna
ment, piling up 1739 pins. The pre
vious high total of 1615 pins whs
made by the Tiger.’.
Last night the Wildcats—Stewart,
G. George and Sperling—went wild
and took three straight games fapm
the Colts—Lavenik. Kirk and Stev
ens. The Wildcats toppled the |
maple for 1739 pins which is high |
class bowling. Wildcat Sperling
clawed down 237 for a single gam'1
and divided honors with Stewart
for high total for the evening.
The Buffaloes—Pullen, Council
and Gardner—raised too much dust
for the Malamutes—VanderLeest,
Sides and VanAlta—and left the
Malamutes on the trail with a sin
gle game. By winning two games
the Buffaloes manages to hold on
to second place sharing honors with
the Wildcats. Malamute Sides roll
ed high single game also high total
in this majeh.
One match remains unplayed
that between the Lions and Leop
ards, which is scheduled for 7:30
o’clock this evening.
