DOUBLE FEATURE
BILL IS OPENING,
CAPITOL SCREEN
“The Cowboy find the Senorita"
and “The Curse of the Cat. People’’
are the two features for tonight and
tomorrow at {.he Capitol Theatre.
Roy Rogers is the star in the first
feature, a high budget western musi
I cal.
Lavishly produced, beautifully
costumed, and filled with music, the
picture has rated raves from critics
wherever it has been shown, and its
tunes, action and cast appeal to ev
ery type of audience.
Rogers has as his leading lady,
the lovely Dale Evans in the role of
i the Senorita. Mary Lee, Republic’s
'diminutive singing star, is seen to
advantage in the action filled photo
play, while Guinn “Big Boy" Wil
lians contributes his own inimitable
brand of comedy in another of his
famous roles as “Teddy Bear”, Rog
ers’ well-meaning sidekick.
Thrills and suspense feature "The
Curse of the Cat People," RKO Ra
dio’s latest shudder-picture. Revolv
ing about the mysterious manifesta
tion of a dead woman who comes
back to life to rescue a little girl
from a fearful fate, the offering is
said to be one of the year’s most
^Tipping films.
Simone Simon, Kent Smith, Jane
Randolph and little Ann Carter head
the cast.
