Transportation System.
Jackson and Rainier Streets Addition is connected
with the business center of Seattle by the Jackson Street
Cable Railway. The road starts at the corner of Jackson
and Second streets, a very central location and runs up
Jackson street to Lake Washington, passing within a
few hundred feet of the Jackson and Rainier Streets Ad
dition. The cars will run every 20 minutes, and in less
than three months the service will be adjusted so as to
pass there every 10 minutes. The fare to and from Jack
son and Rainier Streets Addition is only 5 cents, being as
low as the cheapest car fare in the Northwest.
TERMS, TITLE, ETC,
Jackson and Rainier Streets Addition is owned by
CHARLES H. and GEORGE B. KITTINGER, who arc
amply able to carry out the enterprise just as advertised.
It is their intention to commence work upon the houses
at once and push them through to completion as soon as
possible.
All those securing lots entitled to houses, as shown
by map, can (if work has not been commenced on that
particular house at the date of award) have choice of the
two cottage designs, as shown at our office. One of the
houses will be of the Queen Anne design, costing SIOOO.
One will be of same design, costing in the neighborhood
of $750 each ; and the balance, three in number, will be
of modern design—four rooms, hard finished cottages,
complete in every appointment, and could not be dupli
cated for less than SBOO each.
The building of houses will create homes for ten
families, and will enhance the value of all remaining
lets. The title to Jackson and Rainier Streets Ad
dition is Guaranteed to Be Absolutely Perfect, and
every ... . is :o bs carried out precisely as advertised
or money will be refunded.
