" PRICE MOVEMENTS '
IN CURB IRREGULAR
Majority of Leaders Advance
.Near Close and Recover
? Early Losses.
Movements ot prices of curb securities
1 yesterday were irregular during most of
i the session, but. toward the close of the
i session there was an upward movement
! in most leading issues and earlier losses
were recovered. In early trading a rising
movement developed soon after the 1
opening, and trading was fairly active, j
but In some oils there was a sharp de- i
I dim following small gains and a few
* , new low records were established.
General Asphalt wu.; in good demand
toward the close and Midwest Refining
I closed unchanged after moving about
Irregularly. A firm tone was reported
in Standard Oil of Indiana, but it reacted.
Simms Petroleum fell to a new low.
Invaders oil and Refining of Oklahoma,
which is expected to make its appear,
ance on the curb, Is reported to be developing
Its 500 acre tract In the Blue
Ridge Field of Texas, which It has
I owned for two years.
I, Hayden Chemical, Mercer Motors, Chi
i cftgo Nipple and Indian Pnckin-j wore
1 wreak spots in the industrials.
Renewed selling of Sinclair bonds
j forced them lower, but steadiness elsewhere
was generally noted.

The coffee market has been dragging
and sagging under premium of low, firm
offers from Hlo and Victoria, and an almost
entire lack of enthusiasm on the
buying side. On yesterday's rail prices
wero a point higher to 4 points lower,
then sold off 5 to ? points on continued
liquidation. That decline wes checked
and a rally of 10 to 15 point followed
around 1 o'clock Trading, however,
lacked snap, and the volume of business
was small.
