syndicate of bankers beaded by Dillon,
Read & Co., who associate with tliom

selves in the distribution Harris. Forbes
Co. and Spencer Trusk & Co. and they
offer the bonds to-day at 95 and interest ,
to yield approximately S per cent. The
proceeds of the issue will be applied to
the reduction of floating indebtedness in- j
curred for property additions. Seml-an- |
nti'tl sinking fund will retire annually 2
per cent, of those bonds until June X,
1926, and IV per cent, annually there
after if obtainable at or under par and
accrued interest. The issue is redeem
able as a whole or in part by lot after

The National City Company is offer
ing $3,000,000 of the Porto Rlcan-Ameri
can Tobacco Company's ten year 8 per
cenl. gold bonds, dated May 15, 19-1.
and maturing on May 13. 1931. at 100
and interest to yield 8 per cent. The
bonds will be a direct credit obligation
of the company and constitute its sole
funded debt presently outstanding I*1
the hands of the public. They will be
secured specifically by deposit of the
entire capital stock of the Porto Rtean- j
American Tobacco Company of Porto j
Rico and approximately 50 per cent, i
of the capital stock of the Porto Rlcan
I-eaf Tobacco Company. The proceeds
of the issue will be used to fund the ,
company's present outstanding float
ing debt and increase its working capi- 1
