Muller Realty Corooratton through Leon S. Altmayer the two five story apartment houses with four stores at 1103 and 1103 Park avenue, between Eighty-ninth and Nine tioth streets. For the last two years the buyers have held the property under a sixty-three year lease. By this sale the entire block front on the east side of Park avenue between Eighty-ninth and Ninetieth streets, consisting of eight five story apartment houses from 1101 to 1115 Park avenue and the six apart ment houses at 101 to 110 East Nine tieth street and 101 to 103 East Eighty ninth street, are controlled by the Al liance Realty Company. The buildings were all purchased through Mr. Altir.ayer as broker. The entire plotage has a frontage of 202 feet on Park avenue, 1S6 feet on East Nine tieth afreet and 133 feet on ICast Eighty ninth street, and has an area of 32,000 square feet. Last week Ring & Bing bought a large site on Park avenue, adjoining the southeast corner of Eighty-fifth street, for a big apartment project, and Samuel A. L. I. The properties, which were sold through Butler & Baldwin as brokers, have a frontage of 150 feet and a depth of 7iJ.ll feet. They show an annual rent roll of $35,000 and were valued at 1200,000. The sellers acquired the property about eight years ago from the builder. Wollheim Bros, bought from the Buckley estate 2301 Eighth avenue, a Ave story flat and store, 25x75, near 124th street. Leo, who a few months ago purchased the northeast corner of Lex ington avenue and Forty-eighth street, has instructed Arthur Loomis Harmon, architect, to prepare plans for a thirty one story apartment hotel for the site. The land is part of the plot acquired a few years ago by the International Sporting Club for a large club house, i Following the foreclosure sale of the i club's property by Joseph P. Day last January to the Centerfleld Company | which was the plaintiff in an action against the club for $371.<571, Mr. Lee bought the corner which measures ' 140x145. At that time Mr. Leo says, he con- ? tem plated pijtting up a fifteen story hotel structure. Day fhr the United States Shipping Board Kmerg ency Fleet Corporation, was brought to a successful close last Saturday when Mr. Day sold the 301 dwellings and sixty-five vacant lots, known as Buck man Village, at Chester, Pa., for a total of $848,575. The sale was held in the Sixth Regiment armory at Chester, Pa. The property comprised 278 dwell ings, twenty-three apartment houses, the famous Buckman Mansion, a garage i and various business buildings. Fully j 2,000 eager bidders wi re present when Mr. Day started the sale at two o'clock. ! The liberal terms offered and the acute housing situation in and around Ches- ? ter, brought out a great many tenants of the houses that were sold, and a number purchased the homes in which they were living. The hlgh< st price paid was for an ' apartment house on North Fifth street - It was sold to Laughlin Linus, a Philadelphia builder, for $34,000. An apartment house containing four apart ments, sold for $10,200. Private dwell ings ranged in price from $1,700 to ; $3,100 cath. Buckman Inn sold for $13,250, while the garage, which ae- i commodates twelve automobiles, was sold for $8,750. The boarding house, j with furnishings, brought $11,000.
