75 Acts in Two Big Houses To-night for Vaudeville Artists Benefit Performance to Be Held at the Hippodrome and Manhattan. The annual benefit of the National Vaudeville Artists will be riven at the Hippodrome and the Manhattan Opera House to-night, with aeventy-flve headlino acts on the program at each house. The players will travel back and forth on a special automobile ranafer sys-1 tem, and each star will play both homes In turn. Ben Roberts, general musical director of B. F. Keith's New York theatres, has arranged for two orchestras of thirtyflva men each. Pat Casey, Edward V. Benton and William J. Sullivan will be the stage managers. Edward V. Darling and George Gottlieb have obtained the acis and laid out the running order of the programs. A feature of the benefit will be the presence of four hundred invalid veterans of the great war as aucsts of the N. V. A. club.
