Mr. Caverno has received the sad news that his daughter-in-law, Matilda Bacon, wife of Xenophon Cav erno, died of pneumonia at Kewanee, 1111.,, Wednesday of this week. The university dance last evening for the benefit of the Athletic association wasa greatsuccess, although the receipts will fall a little short of balancing the deficit of the club. Gibson, the Boulder National bank and the store of A M. Sawyer were closed yesterday and today. Mt.
