' The Sout!: Park Line Issuesa Pamphlet on ‘ the New Camp. ' Rocky Mountiain News. : The passenger department of the South Park road yesterday issued aneatly srinted pamphlet descriptive of the new mining region known as the Puma dis-' trict. A complete map of the district accompanies the pamphlet and 1s one of the valuable features of the publication, which was written and compiled by Mr. W. S. Ward, the company’s mining ex pert. __ FA [ " Puma mining district is Jocated on the famous Tarryall Creek, and gives prom ise of becoming one of the permanent producing c mps of the state. Qu'tea number of prospect holes have been dug | within the last three months, and during l the rhonth of Febiuaiy threc shipmeats of ore were made trom the camp. Lnere has been no effort to create a boont on account of the discovery of pav mineral in the district, and it is the desire of the i management of the railroad company that the camp shail stand strictly upon its merits. There is no question, how ever, that many prospectors will go into the district as soon as spring opens, The | great values which have been found in | places along Tarryall Creek are indica i tions that good shipoing ore ought to be | produced from the lodes, ‘ The appendix of the pamphlet con % tains information that can not fail to in | tercst practical mining men.
