REPAIRING HIGHWAY The city of Agua Prieta expects to complete repairs on the Naco roao west of Agua Pribta withfh the near future. These repairs were made -1 necessary by the flood during the latter part of September. Fritz stated that lie had fed and sheltered' the men Sunday night and that they left his dwelling early Mon day morning. The young trapper said he returned to his house after a short absence to find that his rifle and a small sum of money had been stolen. He suspected the two men who he had befriended and with the aid of Buford Olson succeeded in locating the men Monday afternoon. The accuse!! men protested their in nocence, but were brought into Doug las, notwithstanding, and were turned' over to Walter Morris, deputy sheriff, who gave theim a severe grilling. Thompson finally admitted theft of the rifle and his companion, question ed seperately, admitted stealing the money. The? rifle was not located, Thompson claiming that some men to whom he had tried to sell the gun had taken it away from him. Investi gating officers believe that cattlemon in the district recognized the rule as belonging to Fritz and took it to re turn to him.
