State Board Secures Warrant Against Doctor S. Adler. As a result of a crusade begun by the Missouri Stato Board of Dental Examiners a warrant was issued yesterday against Doctor Samuel Adler of No 827 Wash street, charging him with practicing without a license. Doctor B. L. Thorpe, a member of the board, is the complainant. According to Doctor Thorpe, this action Is but the begin ning of many that will be brought and many arrests will be made. The board, ho Bays, Is determined to break up the unlaw ful practice In St Louis and Missouri, and every dentist or physician to practice dent istry will be compelled to stand a thorough examination before a license will be issued. BL, Nov. 11 Tie county seat war in Hancock County came to a close to day after an exciting and bitter contest. Warsaw hung up JSO.000 as a purse for the county seat, and Carthage, the present county scat, is charged with using her cash in buying up the press and for elec tioneering purposes. The first meet ing as a corporation of the Kentucky Ex hibit Association was held this aflernoon at the newly established headquarters In the "American National Bank building. The meeting decided to transform the Eiecuthe Committee Into a Board of Directors. President Ford announced en couraging progress by the various commit tees and subcommittees, and also a grow ing sentiment throughout the Stato In favor of the movement. The meeting of the directors was fol lowed by a meeting of the Finance Com mittee. This Is the most Important com mittee of all. It has Its work well under way, and there Is no doubt that It will easily raise all the money required for the movement. The work of the committee Is raising the money has not been definitely decided upon. The Tcia", or assessment plan, has met with greatest favor and will probably be adopted, though possibly with pome modifications. The Subcommittee on rinance, having manufactures as their special section, will meet to-morrow i ml prepare for their work. T. L. Jefferson is chairman of this committee.
