Teh woman was fed at each place and furnished with a railroad ticket, bat at none of the towns where she was sent waa she prorlded with enough money to so straight through to Keokuk, her destination. From St. Marys she was Imemdtately sent to West Chester; which prompted the West Chester people to "pass her lntr to Chester. IIL The Mayor of Chester sent her to St. Louis, and after her ar rival here the Provident Relief Associa tion waa asked for assistance. This Is only one of the many similar cases that have presented themselves In St. Louis of late. Only recently a family of seven, hungry and penniless, were sent to St. Louis from Waco.
