Williams' ' Pretty Double
Play Most Sensational
Feature of Game,
Yale and Dartmouth battled for
eleven Innings yesterday, the Ells win
ning through a mistaken decision by
Umpire Malone, j who called Church's
foul a two bagger in the eleventh. This
advanced Madden to third and he was
scored by Sweeney's single, giving Yale
a victory, 2 to 1. The most sensation
al play of the game was a leap into the
air by Williams, in the sixth, catching
Sklllen's liner and stepping on the base,
completing a double piny, Yale pulled
off three lightning double plays.
Meyer's pltfhihg was invincible for
Yale. He kept Dartmouth guessing, let
ting her down with four singles in elev
