The thief was placed under arrest by Sergeant Hartnett of the Fort Lee police near the Municipal Building on Main street. The sergeant found the pocketbook in the telephone booth in Weinstein’s store on Main street at the trolley line. Trolley Car In jures 4 People At 8:45 a. m. on last Monday morn ing a west-bound Englewood car met with an accident near Wolpert's store on Palisade avenue and injured sev eral persons. The car was going at a moderate rate of speed over the switch, which open ed as the back wheels went over it, shifting same to the tracks which run directly to Fort Lee. The car struck a telephone pole. Mary Gallagher, twenty years old, of 55 East Seventy-eighth street, New York city, was cut about the mouth and arms; G. W. Gaudham of 133 East Sixty-first street, New York city, was cut on the hip; Mary and Richard Murphy of Palisade Park were slight ly injured.
