Missing Fort Lee Girl
Returned to Her Home
Miss Helen Muller, 17 years old,
missing from her home in Fort Lee
since January 31, was returned to her
parents Sunday night. She was lo
cated in Guttenberg, where she ex
pected to go to work on a job Monday
morning.
The girl told the police she was
tired of living at home and desired
to try being “on her own” for a while.
After seeking employment for nearly
a week she was finally engaged for
work in Guttenberg. Her mother at
first refused to take her home, saying
she would bring a charge of incorrigi
bility against her, but finally she was
prevailed upon to take her daugh
ter in.
