the White Mountains. Stopovers were
made at Newport, Boston, Portland,
and Crawford Notch. Also a sight
seeing trip was taken through Ausable
Chasm and Ticonderoga. The party
spent several days at Tripp Lake in
the Adirondacks, where fishing, bath
ing, and other out-of-door sports were
indulged in. They returned by the
way of Lake George and Saratoga.

nue, recently entertained Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Aichelmann of Virginia
and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Aichelmann
and daughter, Estelle, of Altoona, Pa.,
for a few days and then the party
journeyed to Virginia for a short stay.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Gowen, ac
companied by their sons, Winthrop
and Arron, are motoring up to Cedar
Beach, Vermont, where they will
spend a short vacation, returning later
with Dr. Gowen who has been syiend
ing the month of August there.

their discretion.
Coytesville
George Gebhardt, fi5 of 3rd street,
Coytesville, died last Sunday after a
long illness. Services were held on
Tuesday evening at the Dutch Church,
and burial at Woodiawn Cemetery, N.
Y., took place on Wednesday. Mr.
Gebhardt is survived by his wife and
several sisters.
Mr. T. IJufe of Sixth street, Coytes
ville, is in the Englewood Hospital
seriously ill. Mr. liufe is well known
in Coytesville, having been born here
and having served for many years as
a volunteer fireman.

family of Washington avenue, return
er from their stay at their bungalow
near Wurtzboro, N. Y., because of the
continued rains. The day aften they
came home the weather changed and
they are hoping for better luck on
their next visit.

week’s vacation at Ocean Grove.

will return shortly from Sehroon lake,
N. Y., where they have been staying
for one month.

northern New York and Canada. On
their tour they visited Quebec, Mont
real, and Niagara Falls. Coming home
