Pajisadian Has Auto Aeroplane Continued from Page 1 tolling you about the fusilage.” He then paid: c “The fore part of the ship with wheels that can be steered has a re semblance of an ordinary automobile, clear vision wind shields, 2 door sedan body, 4 side windows, steering gear, speed lever, clutch and brake pedals, etc., and the flying controls with the wing mechanism make u very compact job. Rear part embodies the driving wheels with internally expanded brakes, transmission and the fins. “Through a. special mechanical de vice the propeller is disconnected and automatically the power from the motor transmitted to hind wheels for ground service. The wings are folded side by cidp, total width in that posi tion being just about the same as an automobile. “This plane can be put in a garage at home and when needed the whole ,, family can get in there and like an ' auto, the driver can back it to the street and proceed with the traffic * even in the most congestion. “When an ideal spot to take off is * reached, whether on straight, clear road or a field, just pressing a lever automatically the wings are protract ed to their original place, the. propel ler is unfastened, the steering wheel is locked, the hind wheels become free, all without the operator moving from his seat, and now ready to fly. “While cruising along it is de ; sired to descend, either for an ap i proaching fog, storm or late hour, etc. no matter at what distance from * home, a convenient site is selected and ) the landing done. Again autoniatical < ly like'before;’the wings are folded, ’. etc., and like in an auto the journey j‘ is continued homeward. “While my eight foot model embod ies practically all these features, I am now endeavoring to build a 26-foot > spread ship with which I will fly and ; demonstrate same on the congested highways. Naturally many changes i and improvements will be incorporat ed. “This model has been submitted to the American Society for Promotion ' of Aviation, Now York, and to three leading Aeronautical engineers. Their j comment and approval was highly favorable.” i. Drastic Change In Zoning LaW T?' I* fcv % $ it Continued from Page 1 the bus situation. Mayor White urg ed all who could to attend.
