The Postal-Telegraph Ordered
to Give Up A. R. U. Secrets.
The Breath of Strikers at Denver
Taken Away by the Gene
rosity of the Court.
By the Associated Press.
San Fkancisco: Aug., 2. The Postal
Telegraph Company was ordered by
Judge Morrow this morning to produce
copies of all telegrams sent and
received by them for the members of
the American Bail way Union during
the recent strike. This covers all tele
grams sent to and reseived from
DebB, the president of the union.
Attorney Wood urged long and ably
on behalf of the non-production of the
telegrams, but the judge held that the
United States District Attorney had the
law on his side.
Surprised at the Court's Leniency.
Denver, Aug. 2. In the United
States district court this afternoon
seven Grand Junction railroad men
convicted by a jury of retarding the
mails by refusing to handle trains in
which were Pullman cars, Judge Hal
let fined them $10 and costs each. His
leniency surprised the A. B. U. men.
The Omaha Packintr House Strike.
Omaha, Aug. 2. All packing houses
in South Omaha were forced to close to
day by the strike of cattle and hog
butchers. Adjutant General Gage of
Nebraska has been ordered to report at
once to South Omaha on account of the
strike. .
Cremated In Jail.
Tacoma, Aug. 2. A Ledger special
from Koslyn, Washington, says: At
11 o'clock last night Bill Tequancy, an
Indian, while lodged in jail for the
night, set fire to his cell and was
burned to a crisp.
No Politics at Honolulu.
Honolulu, Aug. 2. Absolute quiet
prevails here and for the first time in
over a year politics have been wholly
dropped.

Ih Human Electrical Forces!
"low They Control the Organs
of the Bcdy.
T:.a electrical force of the human body, aa
he nerve fluid may be termed. Is an espe
:ii!y attractive department of science, as it
;erLs so marked an influence on the health
: i iie organs of the body. Nerve force is
to.! need by the brain and conveyed by
nufina of the nerves to the various organs of
at body, thus supplying the latter with the
'iLaiity necessary to in
ure their health. The
wtMimogastric nerve, as
;!:own here, may be said
o De the most important
)f the entire nerve sys
em, as it supplies the
leurt, lungs, stomach,
lowels, etc., with the
;iei ve force necessary to
keep them active and
liealthy. As will be seen
oy the cut the long nerve
descending from the
oase of the brain and
terminating in the bow
Ms is the pneumogastric,
vhile the numerous lit-.
:ie branches supply thel
'leurt, lungs and stom
f'li with necessarv vi
tality. When the brain
oeoomes in any way dis
n'dered by irritability
)r exhaustion, the nerve
!orce which it supplies
is lessened, and the or
jans receiving the di
minished supply are con
i;nuentlv weakened.
Physicians generally fail to recognize,
the importance of this fact, but treat the
organ itself instead of the cause of the trouble
The noted specialist. Franklin Miles, M. D.,
LL. B., has given the greater part of his life
to the study of this subject, and the principal
discoveries concerning it are due to his efforts.
Dr. Miles' Restorative Nervine, the unri
valed brain and nerve food, ispreparedonthe
principle that all nervous and many other
difficulties originate from disorders of the
nerve centers. Its wonderful success in curing
these disorders is testified to by thousands la
every part of the land.
Restorative Nervine cures sleeplessness,
nervous prostration, dizziness, hysteria, sex
ual debility, St. Vitus dance, epilepsy, etc. It
is free from opiates or dangerous drugs. It
is sold on a positive guarantee by all drug-
