' Confident Republican Delegates Catherine for the Event. The Republican countv convention will assemble at the opera house at 10 o'clock this morning. Many delegates reached town yesterday but not enough to clearly show the course the conven tion is likely to take, though there is little apparent possibility ot serious contest in the ticket. The opera house was elaborately decorated yesterday with flags, bunting, evergreen and portraits of men who have honored and been honored by Re publicanism. It is too early yet to give a forecast worth giving of the result of the conventoin. The deleeates however give assurance that all personal friend ship and consideration are going to be laid aside while a ticket, is being nomin ated to Bweep the county in just two moutns irom today.
