Ordinance No. 179. An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 100, Entitled an Ordiiifince m Revision of the Ordinances of the City cf Phcenix, and to Establish Provision for the Government of Said Citv. The Common Count il of Phoenix do ordain as follows: Section 1 That section 4 of chaDter 1. article 1, of an ordinance entitled An Ordinance in Revision of the Ordinonces of the City of Phrenix, and to establish provision for ihe gov ernment 01 said city be, md the same is hereby amended to read as follows: It shall be unlawful for any minor to visit, haiig around or loiter in or about any bawdy house, billiard room, drinking saloon, barer other place where intoxicating liquors are sold. sec subdivision n oi section i oi article i of chapter , be aLd the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: Riding or driving any animal througb the streets at a rate of speed exceeding six miles per hour. That section 3 of chapter 1 of article 1 be amended to read as follows: Sec. 3 Every person who shall carry on the business of laundry or wash house within the limits of that part of the city heretofore desig nated and Bet apart as fire limits under ordi nance No. 70. entitled "An ordinance to amend section 1 of ordinance No. 44, entitled 'an ordi nance to provide for the protection of persons and property in the city of Phcenix from damage by fire,' " shall be guilty of a mi s demeanor, and all such laundries and wash honses are hereby declared to be a nuisance. Sec. 4 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are herebj re pealed. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and publication as by law re quired.
