In the Deposit of the Stone In Pima County About Thirty Miles From Tucson. From the Tucson Citiaen. Probably the largest deposit of marble in the world is to be found in Pima county, about ten miles from the S. P. railroad and 33 miles from Tucson. It is on Goorge Stone's ranch near the old Blue Jay mine. Cliffs of pure marble stand hundreds of feet high and thou sands of feet long and apparently with out a break. The marble is white, black and variegated, ia of splendid grain and susceptible of .a high"pohh. Sunday the property was visited by Mr. C. M. Burfehalter in the interest of the S. P., who have under consideration the running of a switch to the propertv. This will certainly be done and the greatest marble quarry in the world opened up. Of coursa the whole thin win aepeud on the ability of the own era to lay it down cheap.
