It Was Part of the Money Burled by Bandit Brady: the Swajr of a Train Holdup. By the Associated Press. San Francisco, Aug. 28. The Even ing Poet will eay that Wells-Fargo de tectives have diecovered $11,000 ol the money stolen by Bandit Brady from a train near Swiogle station last October. The robbers had buried the money in the tules. There were four sacks of coin ; two sacks containing $40,000 were found and carried, off presumably by tramps. Empty Backs were found a few days ago and diligent search re vealed two other sacks stolen, one con tained $10,000 and the other $1,000. ASSOCIATED PRESS. Its Service Now Extended Into Mexico. The Two Republics Now United by a Telegraphic News Service. By the Associated Press. Chicago, Aug. 28. The leased wire system of the Associated Press nas been extended from San Antonio to Laredo, Tex., on the border of Mexico, where connection is made with the system of the Mexican National Railway com pany. Tonight for the first time in the history of Mexico, two republics are united by direct telegraphic, news con nections, and the full report of the Associated Press will hereafter be sent direct to the capital of Mexico. The Associated PreeB will also receive news of Mexico direct, and it is contemplated to deliver this Dews in . New York and San Francisco within ten minutes after its filinsr. Exit O'Brien. The Marriage of Two Popular Mesa , People. A happy marriage was consummated yesterday when H. M. Lewis of Mesa City, led to the altar of Hymen, Miss Rose Ingram, daughter of M. D. In gram of Mesa. The ceremony was per formed by Probate Judge Crouse at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at 226 Madi son street, only the father of the bride and a few intimate friends being pres ent. After the ceremony the couple drove back to Mesa City, where they will reside. Mr. Lewis ie one of the most popular young men of Mesa, having lived there for Bixteen years. A couple of years ago be went to Yalpariaso, Indiana, to attend school and there met Mies In gram, one of the most beautiful and ac complished youDg ladies of that city. The youne lady with her father later removed to Mesa where Mr. Lewis suc ceeded in winning her for his bride. Afternoon Teas. Mrs. C. A. Luke, Mrs. Frank Luke and Mrs. John T. Dennis of Phoenix, Ariz., are stopping at the Corfu hotel, Los Angeles. Attorney-General Satterwhite left last night for Tucson. He was to have gone the previous evening but was una ware of the fact that the train leaves an hour earlier than usual. Dr. J. H. Gentry, who has lately taken the offices formerly occupied by Dr. Tattle, is spending a few days at Mesa where he was called by the illness of his brother.
