WHEREAS, Under an act of the Legislative Assembly of the Territory, entitled "Elections, " and approved March S, 1SS7, it is provided that there shall be held throughout the Territory upon the Tuesday after the first Mon day in November, A. Twelve members of the Council of the Legislative Assembly of Arizona, and twenty-four members of 'the House of Representatives of the Legislative Assembly of Arizona, apportioned agreeably iio existing laws as follows: Apache county, one member of the Council and one member of the House of Representatives; Coconino county, one member of the Council and one member of the House of Representa tives; Cochise county, one membir of the council and three members of the House of representatives; Gila coun ty, one member of the council and one member of the House of Representa tives: Graham county, one member of the Council and two members of the House of Representatives: Marieopa. county, one member of the Council and four members of the House of repre sentatives: Mohave county, one mem ber of the Council and one member of the House of Representatives; Navajo county, one member of the Council and one member of the House of Repre sentatives; Pima ccunty. one member of the Council, jointly with the county of Santa Cruz, and t'hree members of the House of Repitsenfatives; Pinal county, one memb. r of the council and two members of the House of Rep resentatives; Santa Cruz county, one member of the council, jointly with the county of Pima, as aforesaid, and one member of the House of Representa tives; Yavapai county, one member of the Council and three members of the House of Representatives; Yuma county, i ne member of the council and une member uf the House of Repre sentatives. And there shall be elected in each c-ounty of the territory, one rrobate Judge, one District Attorney, one Sher iff, one Treasurer, one Recorder, one Surveyor, two members of the Board of Supervisors, excejvt that in the county of Cochise there shall be elec t ed three members of the Board of Su pervisors, and in the county of Santa Cruz tl:cre shall be elected three mem bers of the Board of Supervisors, and in each county of the first class and in tae.i county of the se'eond class, one Assessor shall be elected: also in the several precincts of each county one Justice of the Peace and one constable shall be elected, and in such precincts as are entitled to two Justices of the Peace and two Constables that number shall be eli'cted. There shall also be elected in each county of the first class one County School Superintendent.
