Miss Alison r-' Hponded for the freshmen, and James 'Alton of Wilcox, the youngest npil smallest student in school, responded for the ninth grade. The funeral services over the body of Miss Vina Openshaw, daughter of Mr. nnd Mrs. Samuel Opsnshaw of NephI, was held In the Ncphl school house. Sunday at 12 o'clock. Miss Vina had been sick for some weeks with typhoid fever, and although everything possi ble was dime for her It was of .10 avail, and she passed away Saturday late In the evening. SI e wa In her eighteenth year Just budding Into womanhood, nnd was beloved because of her kind, loving and cheerful nature, and was the Idol of the family.
