Kxtra good ones for twenty-five cents, splendid values for the money, but we do not urge the' sale of any of these .becausi real down right economy comes in buying something a little better. W's would advise you to pick a brush costing 35 cents or more for two reasons: First, your teeth are worthy of the best brush made. The better the brush the more perfect its work. Second, the higher grade brushes are guar anteed to give long and perfect service. GOODMAN'S PRESCRIPTION PHARMACY, Cor. Washington & Center Sts. Phoenix, A. T. V. J. No. 27, sttjs: A v. hole company of he Fifth rt-gimer.t of Mexican rurales was killed and scattered ty the Yaim Indians at Ran iio. Hear here, and the ' rti"t news of the disaster v-as m.nd- public last night by S. i. Klemniing and J. Sidney Poole, who have jufct returned from their mines at Cumripa on the Yauui river . Mr. Flemming said: "A -a hole company of the Fifth regi ment, under the command of Colon-d Francisco Picarurdo. was wiped out uf existence by a band of Yaijuis and that is known of the fate of the rurales is that six bodies were left dead at I he scene oT tho attack. The rest of the company was 'cutttved in the brush and no news has been received from the remnants of the soldi-rs, and it is supposed they wore chive n into the brush and k;lltd cue at a time., "The ruraie.-1 were camped near Ri -pairo, and the Ya'juis came on tnem in tho early moriiing. befora the who".j company was awake, and so fierce was the attack of the Indians-- that they scattered Cue whole command, and out side of the six dead that were left on the set ne of the camp, there is not'..!:; j to Indicate the fate of the otiiers. "The country about Gumuripa, Is in dread of the Yaquis. and in a town of r.0e people no one dares laVe his ho-js-i after niht. and while the men are at work in the mines they have their rifles and revolvers within easy reach. "The Ya,U'S are ris familiar witii that enuiilry n t.-.e oldest inhabitant and there are but few places whei- water can be secured. They knoa ail of the wells and all ot the trails, anl it will be next to impossible for tho government to wipe them out of the co m try. 'One thin;? is especially peculiar. Anyone who is known to be an Amer ican can go through the Yaiiul count ry without even an escort .and tin y will i; safer than if they had a company of rurales with them. The Indians have no grudge at the American, as they know lie :s not after- their lands, anil they jijso know from where their sup ply of arms and nmrmtnit ion conv-s. They take no chances of stirring up tlv? I.'nited States against them, bat when it comes to tae Mexicans they will cciitinue to carry on this 'si.iping' war fare as long as any of thern are alive. The only American who i:-. knewn to nave been killed in the Yaqui country during the last six months was Suiii van, the manager of the Daduro plater mines, and l-.is place was about twenty miles fioni wftei- they were Iocatiil. "YhiIe going in two months ago two of my Moso or half-cast escorts were killed. and while we were coming on this trip two of the natives were picked off from i.mbush. Our camp was surroun Jed one nigrht and there was a lively fire from the Yaouis for a while, but we sent the head Moso of our party to them and informed them that v e wore Americans, and the at tack ceased without any one being killed.
