The Greene & Griffin Peal Estate ana investment Co. has bocome asso ciated with Fred C. Foster in the management of the general agency for the entire west, of the Interna tional Land company of Kansas City. Mo. This Is the company for which Bishop & Haun of this city have the Arizona agency and which business they have been advertising lilerally of late. The company has for sale approx imately a million acres of land in old Mexico, located on the isthmus of Tehauntepec in the states of Vera Cruz and Oaxaea. These lands are to be sold at from J5.50 to S8 per acre. They are said to be of the finest quality, growing cocoanuts, ba nanas, oranges, cereals, medicinal woods, fibrous plants and in fact al most everything that pertains to . those latitudes, while the climate is equable and neither intensely hot nor ! cold. The lands owned by the com- I pany are crossed by two railroads, hence the transjMirtation facilities are good. J. S. Griffin, who has gone to Al buquerque to attend the Irrigation congress, will join an excursion party there, and accompanied by Dr. Ancil Martin, will visit the lands in ques tion. Mr. Griffin will inspect them carefully and select such acreage as tho agency here will undertake to di.'po.-e of so that when he returns i he will be able to tell his patrons about the lands from personal ac quaintance with them. The lists are being sent out by Sec retary Kirk of the commission to all former exhibitors and to all who have made inquiry about the conditions of entry but the business of distribution will rest mainly with the various coun ty commissioners and the superintend ents of tile departments who are urged to get busy. In the preface the commissioners ex press their assurance of giving the people a larger and better display than ever before. Increased space for exhi bits will be irovided ad an addition has been made to the grand stand for the accommodation of at least one thousand persons more. The pamphlet is something more than a premium list. It is a program for fair week and moreover, contains all the information which visitors and exhibitors would desire.
