Sharpe and Associ ates Have Formally Acquir ed Control and Will Oper ate the Property on a Big er Scale. The property of the Arizona Bouse company. he most notable feature of which is the Little Butte mine, yester day passed into the hands of a. new management, together with some ad lilionul mining claims, the capital stock of the corporation was raised from $2,000,000 to )3,(i0it,U00, and the name 'f it ';as changed from the Ari zona House company to Littlw Butte 'onsolidated Mines company. It Is not a new company, but a reorganiza tion of the former company to meet the wishes of a number of I'hoenix gentlemen who have acquired a con trolling stock interest. These gentle men are known as among the largest of the local capitalists, all of them conservative business men. John W. Sharp, the new president and general manager, being a mining nun of al most lifelong experience. In pursuance with the call issued to the stockholders for a special meet ing, they assembled In the Hotel Adams yesterday mi rning. About four teen gentlemen were present. 87 rer cent of the outstanding stock being represented in person or by proxy or by attorney. The meeting was merely to make formal and legal the under standing arrived at several days ago by those interested, and the details of which were outlined by The Republi can at the time. By vote of the stock holders, the new name das adopted and the capitol stock raised, and. the articles were amended fixing the direc torate at not less than five nor more than nine. - In the afternoon there was a Joint meeting of the old board of directors and the gentlemen representing the new interests, slated for positions on the board. The old board resigned one at a time and a new director was elected to fill the vacancy, this being continued until the board had been entirely changed except in the case of one man, J. K. Meyer, the president of the former company, who is still a member of the board, representing the interests of himself and associates, the promoters of the old company. The new board is composed of the following named gentlemen: George M. Halm. David Shear, C. B. King. John W. Sharpe. la F. Davie. H. B. King and J. E. Meyer. The new board Immediately organized by the election of John W. Sharpe. president and general manager, David Shear, of War ren, Pa., vice president; H. B. King, secretary and treasurer. President Sharpe will leave for Bouse probably tomorrow. He has been nominally In charge of the prop-' erty ever since the deal was arranged a week or so ago, but is now actually and legally in charge, and will direct the operations at the mine personally. ITCHING SEEMED TO INCURABLE Terrible Red Patches on Face and Arms Made Victim Ashamed to be Seen Suffered Intensely for Ten Months Expert Treatment Gave No Relief Two Sets of the CUTICURA REMEDIES ENTIRELY CURED HER "About two years ago I contracted eczema and suffered intensely for about ten months. At times I thought I would scratch myself to pieces. My face and arms were covered with large red patches, so that I was ashamed to go out. I was advised to go to a doctor who was a specialist in skin diseases, but I received very little relief. I tried every known remedy, with the same results. I thought I would never get better until a friend of mine told me to try the Cutkura .Remedies. So I tried them as the laxt resource, and I am very glad that I did, for after four or five applications of Cuticura Ointment I was relieved of my unbearable itching. I used two seta of the Cuticura Remedies (Soap, Ointment and Pills), and I am completely cured. I always recom mend Cuticura to any one that is suf fering and in every cane it seems to cure. Cuuctua Book as Mia VI Asked concerning the raised capitali zation of one half, he said it was not done by the injection of water, but is more than offset by the value of the adjacent mining claims acquired, which in his opinion are worth as much as the Little Hutte itself, beside giv ing the company a larger and more compact holding. Mr. Sharpe says he does not care to outline his plans of work until after he has returned from his next trip to the property, any more than to say the operations will be along the present lines except tltat they will be on : a larger scale. The mine is looking bigger and better every day. The new directors were interrogated as to the company's policies but said they were too new in the saddle to speak in more than a general way or to outline any policies. They assert, however, that the company has been fully financed and has ample resources for exploitation on whatever suggests itsolf as economical and expeditious working. The treasury stock has been held at 50 cents for 'sometime. No change has been made in the quotation and it may be confidently assumed that the gentlemen who are putting new money into the project have no notion of depreciating the price of the stock. The mine is not dependent on the , sale of stock for its continued operation, therefore there is no fear that necessity can shatter the price of it. The story of the Little Butte is a short and a pleasing one. It has been a most successful venture from the first. Only January 15 last was the bond for the property first placed In escrow and the mine taken over by the Arizona House company. The shaft was then only thirty-five feet deep. Since then the shaft has been sunk to 210 feet and over 300 feet of drifting and cross cutting has been done, mainly under the superlnten dency of J. C. Denton. Not only has this underground work been accom- BRAIN BUILDING. How to Feed Nervous Cases. Hysteria sometimes leads to Insanity and should be treated through feeding the brain and nerves upon scientifically selected frMKl that restores the lost delicate gray matter. Proof of the power of the brain food. Grape-Nuts, is remarkably strong. "About eight years ago when work ing very hard as a court stenographer I collapsed physically, then nervously, and was taken to the State Hospital for the Insane at Lincoln, Neb., a rav ing maniac. "They hnd to keep me in a straight jacket and I was ket in the worst ward for three months. I was finally dismissed In the following May. but did no brain vork for years, until last fall when I was persuaded to take the testimony in two cases. "One of these was a murder case and the strain upon my nervous sys tem vian'so great that I would have broken down again except for the strength I had built up by the use of Grape-Nuts. When I began to feel the pressure of the work on my brain and nerves I simply increased the amount of Grape-Nuts and used the food more regularly. "I now feel like my old self again and am healthy and happy. I am sure that if I had known of Grape-Nuts when I had my trouble 8 years ago I would never have collapsed, and this (jark experience in my life would nev er have happened. "The power of Grape-Nuts as a brain food Is simply wonderful and I do not believe any stomach is so weak that it cannot digest this wonderful food." . "There's a Reason." From the time ore was first taken out in quantities it has been a steady shipper. Altogether It has been a story of successful oper ation all the way through. The time arrived, however, when from a copper! prospect a copper mine came into evi dence and larger capital was required In its exploitation. That capital has been forthcoming and has acquired the property with the harmonious consent and co-operation of Meyers, iBshop. Denton and all concerned, and the sell ers who still retain stock interests, are equally as optimistic over its future prospects as are the gentlemen repre senting the new management. From this date the work of actual mining will begin as all opinions ex pressed agree that there Is no longer a possible doubt of the existence of niaginiflcent ore bodies, and there Is much reason for believing that greater ones are to be uncovered than have yet been exposed.
