The Dos Angeles excursion to the Phoenix fair is to leave that saintly city on th'j twenty-seventh of October. Direct to Douglas is the first lap and from there the boosters hurry through Bisbee and Tucson, arriving at the lat ter point Monday afternoon. Tuesday morning early the train will pull into Phoenix an-d the Los Angeles contingent will be prepared to pass the day of their lives as the guests of the local board of trade and business men. All sorts of entertainments are being planned for the Los Angeles men. Not any of the program has been divulged, but knowing the ingenuity of Harry Welch, the average man can predict that it will be a hummer. The fair grounds will be the exclusive property of the coast town visitors. All the city will stand at their command, ready to back up the promises of the glad hand with actual hospitality. The fund of business men for all the fair attractions is coming: along nicely. This sum will include the entertain ment appropriation, part of which will be spent in showing the Los Angelas excursionists the best lime the city af fords. Their enjoyment does not stop at seeing Phoenix. From the capital thoy go directly to the Grand Cam on, where the beauties of nature's most gigantic set of scenery will be viewed for the first time by most of the party. Pres cott will entertain them on iVie way for a short time, so by the time they have left the shores of Arizona, they will have reason to think the newest state is trying to do the right thing by its guests. 22 " ' " ' -I im Illl , Mill!, ill, .
