I blk 2, 'i c ' I 1 rtV - - i THE ARIZONA REPUBLICAN, FRIDAY MORNING, "That Was the Time We Nearly Spilled MUNGER BROS. OLIVES ARE ACCEPTABLE GIFT Republican Force Rounds Out Thanks giving Day Dinner. That they were gifts may have had something to do with it, but there is ni denying that the ripe olives with which the Republican force rounded out their Thanksgiving Day dinners yesterday, were just about the juiciest, fattest pickled dainties that were ever raised on a tree or preserved in a can. M linger Brothers were responsible for the contribution. The olives were tak en from the run of the stock which is being prepared for the market at the Munger olive factory on South Central avenue and there was no particular effort made or means available of se i lectins more choice fruit than is ordi- narily found in the general stock placed on the market. Munger Brothers opened their olive pickling plant some weeks ago, and since that time have been busily en gaged in taking care of their share of the crop in the valley. They not oniy send out some of the finest green oives to be found anywhere in the word, but they make a specialty of preparing ripe olives for the market as well as expressing olive oil and bott ling that product. In the east it is becoming quite the proper thing in asking for olives to call for the Mun ger Bro.hers products. They employ a process original with themselves which preserves the true color and pal ate tantalizing properties of the fruit. And with the excellent material with which they have to work, they have made a success of their business and a lasting name for the olive of the Salt River valley. o New Kee'u.
