ROAD PETITION FILED A petition having been heretofore filed with this Board by G. B. Norton, et al, praying the Board to establish a public road along tlie following boun daries, to-wit: Commencing at a point where the North Bank of the new Grand Canal intersects the Median line extending North and South through the renter of Section 7, Township one North. Range Four East, and extending thence North through the center of Sections 7 and (. Township one North. Range four East, and Sections 31, SO, and 19, Township two North, Range four East to the south bank of the Arizona Canal, the said roadway to be 66 feet in width, 33 feet thereof on each side of said Median Line. And it appearing to the Board that the said petition was signed by at least ten persons, residents of the County and paying taxes therein. And ?l further appearing that notices had oecn duly posted as required by law, stating the beginning and terminus of said road, its general course and di rection, and further stating that application would be made to the Board of Superv isors on April 6, 1914, at ten o'clock A. M. for action on said petition and for the establishment of said road; proof by affidavit of the posting of such notice being duly made and filed with this Board as provided by law. THEREFORE, it Is ordered that O. C. Thompson. County Surveyor, and C. E. Frisbie and A. G. Tshalar, be and they are hereby appointed as a Board of Viewers to view out and locate said road, and to appraise and report all damage that may !e caused by said location or change. And it further appearing that notices had been duly posted as required by law, stating tile beginning and terminus of said load, its general course and di rection, and further stating that application would be made to the Board' of Supervisors on April 6th, 1914, at ten o'clock A. M. for action on said peti tion and for the establishment of said road: proof by affidavit of the post ing of such notice being duly made and filed with this Board as provided by law. THEREFORE, it is ordered that O. C. Thompson, County Surveyor, and A. W. Lamson and A. L. Power, be and they are hereby appointed as a Board of Viewers to view out and locate said road, and to appraise and report all damage that may be caused by said location or change. State of Arizona, has certified the Board of Supervisors all tlie to proceedings had by said School Dis trict pursuant to said Act. fir the pur pose of authorizing the issue of the Eonds ot said School District in the sum of. Fifteen Thousand Dollars for the purpose of raising money for building one scho house, and supply ing the same with furniture and nec essary apparatus, and improving the grounds thereof: and WHEREAS, it appears in and by said proceedings that at a meeting of s-aid Board of Trustees duly called and held on the 13th day of February. 1914. at which meeting there, were present a majority of the members of said Board of Trustees, a resolution was duly adopted and entered o record, calling a special election to be held on the 21st day of March, 1914, between the hours of nine o'clock in the forenoon and four o'clock in the afternoon of said day, nd that said election be held at the school house situated in said School- District Number Seventeen of Maricopa County, State of Arizona, for ihe purpose of submitting to the tax payers of said School District newspaper of general circulation pub lished at Phoenix. Maricopa County, State of Arizona, not less than once a week for three successive weeks, and that said notice contained. First. The purpose and place of hold ing such election. Second.
