The Board resumed session at ten o'clock A. M., Monday, April 27th, 1914, and there were present: V. A. Moeur, Chairman, Frank Luke and Lin B. Orme, Members, and James Miller, Jr., Clerk. Absent: None. Minutes of previous meeting read ami approved. Audit of State Road Accounts. The Board audited and allowed Slate Road Accounts as follows: McNeil Co. $13.00 J. B. Bleckley 30.00 Arizona State Press 25.00 F. B. Baptist & Co. 123.75 L. M. Acuff 45.00 The Chairman was directed to ex ecute vouchers for the above claims payable out of the State Road Tax Fund. Bonds Approved. The Chairman reported that ho had approved the following bonds, Viz: On April 25th the Bond of Fred trick Louis Zimmerman as Notary Public, with National Surety Com pany as surety. On April 27th the Bond of Fred W. Moore as Notary Public with Maryland Casualty Company as surety. Bids on Plumbing The Board having heretofore ad verted for sealed bids for the in stallation of a septic tank and piumbing system at the County Farm, which said bids were to be cpened at ten o'clock A. M., Mon day. April 27th. 1914, and that hour having now arrived and the Clerk of the Board having reported that seven bids had been received, the Board proceeded to open and ex amine the said bids which were as follows: I. Bids on Concrete Wall The Board having heretofore ad vertised for scaled bids for the con struction of a concrete wall at the County Detention Home, which said bids were to be opened at ten o'clock A. M., Monday, April 27th, 1914, and that hour having now arrived and the Clerk of the Board having re ported that three bids had been re ceived, the Board proceeded to open and examine the said bids which were as follows: I. Lindstrom and Dyer For constructing wall and placing fence according to plans and spec ifications for the sum or $250.00 II. W. II. Patrick i For constructing wall and placing fence according to plans and spec ifications, for the sum of $325.00 III. Herbert J. Mann For constructing wall and placing fence according to plans and spec ifications, for the sum of $433.00 It appearing to the Board, after due consideration, that the bid of Lindstrom and Dyer is the lowest and best bid, therefore it is ordered that the said bid be and it is hereby ac cepted, and the Chairman and Clerk of this Board are directed to enter into a contract with the said Lind strom and Dyer for the performance of the said work according to the plans and specifications. Bids on Fence The Board having heretofore ad vertised for sealed bids for furnishing ornamental Iron fence for the County Detention Home, which said bids were to be opened at ten o'clock A.
